PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linearly moving device which realizes further lower torque, even in using ball oil of higher dynamic viscosity than that of base oil used in conventional grease, though it has similar consistency to that of conventional grease. SOLUTION: This linearly moving device is provided with a guide shaft having a ball rolling groove in an outer circumferential surface, a movable body having a ball rolling groove in an inner circumferential surface to form a ball rolling space facing the ball rolling groove in the guide shaft, a number of balls rollingly contained in the ball rolling space, and a ball circulation passage to scoop the ball at one end of the ball rolling space to move the ball to the other end of the ball rolling space. Grease containing urea compound containing long fibers of a fiber length of 3μm or more as thickener is enclosed in the device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
