PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal temperature rise of washing water in cooling operation, while using the washing water of a water tank as a cooling means of a condenser. SOLUTION: This toilet device with a cooling apparatus is provided with the cooling apparatus having a compressor, the condenser, a decompressor, an evaporator and an air blower constituting a refrigerating cycle and the water tank for collecting the washing water of a stool, the condenser is made to sink in the water tank, a tank temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the washing water in the water tank and outputting it to a cooling control part is provided, the cooling control part detects change in the detected temperature by the tank temperature detecting means during operation of the cooling apparatus, and when the detected temperature is not variable over a predetermined temperature gradient, it is determined as abnormality and the cooling apparatus is stopped.
