PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating film which alleviates a hard impression characteristic of an inorganic substance produced by an inorganic building material. SOLUTION: The topcoating composition for an inorganic building material comprises 100 pts.mass of the solid content of an aqueous coating mainly composed of an acrylic emulsion or a silicone-acrylic emulsion and, incorporated thereinto, 1-10 pts.mass of a thermally expandable microcapsule.
