PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder for a camera by which an object at a long distance and a display in the finder are simultaneously observed in a clear state even at the time of high magnification. SOLUTION: The finder 5 is a real image type finder consisting of an objective lens 15, a finder lens barrel 16, an erect prism 17 and an eyepiece 18 in order from the side of the object. Since a diopter correction motor 52a runs for a specified quantity at the time of correcting diopter and a linear gear 52c meshed with a gear 52b is moved for a specified quantity in an optical axis direction in a diopter correction lens moving mechanism 52, a diopter correction lens is moved, so that the diopter is corrected.
