PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation system by which a driver makes sufficient preparations in advance when a crossing to make a turn next is guided and displayed in a route guidance operation, and by which safety is confirmed during a driving operation. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle navigation system is provided with a map-data storage means; a means used to detect a present position of an own vehicle, a display device, a loudspeaker, and a control means. The control means makes the display device display information specifying a position of the crossing when the own vehicle reaches a prescribed distance up to the crossing to make the turn next on a guidance route (S2), in a state that the guidance route up to a destination from the present position of the own vehicle searched by using map data is displayed on a screen of the display device (S2), and guide information regarding the crossing is reported to the loudspeaker by a voice (S4).
