PURPOSE:To prevent the extinction of data by monitoring the line state even in off-line to store transmission data for line troubles and transaction data in off-line. CONSTITUTION:The state of the line to a host is always monitored by a line control part 22 of a terminal equipment provided with a main control part 12, an input/output control part 14, a keyboard 16, a display device 18, a printer 20, the line control part 22, and a storage part 24; and if the line is normal, this state is reported to the main control part 12. When receiving this report, the main control part 12 displays this state on the display device 18 through the input/output control part 14. If detecting a line trouble, the main control part 12 stores data as an untransmitted transaction data file in the storage part 24 and displays the state of off-line on the display device 18. When the line is restored, untransmitted transaction data stored in the storage part 24 is read out and is transmitted to the host. |
