<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a crew by one camera. <P>SOLUTION: When a control circuit 20 judges that a crew head section 19 is located at a specific distance from a head rest 30 according to a signal from a proximity sensor 32, the control circuit 20 calculates the position in the back/ forth direction of an assistant seat 16 and the inclination angle of a seat back 26 based on a signal from a seat slide sensor 22 and that from a seat back angle sensor 28 at that time. Further, imaging data by the camera 12 at that time are stored as reference dimensions at the reference position of a crew head section 19. Additionally, the control circuit 20 calculates the position of the crew head section 19 by comparing the reference dimensions with the measured dimensions of the crew head section 19 of the imaging data by the camera 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
