<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable hermetic seal holding vessel suitably applicable to a hermetic seal holding vessel for a double door system and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This hermetic seal holding vessel A is provided with a container 1 having an opening part 1a, a container door 2 sealing the opening part 1a of the container 1, and a gasket 3 arranged between the container 1 and the container door 2 for keeping the inside of the container 1 hermetically when the container door 2 is closed. In formation of the gasket 3, one kind of material selected from a group consisting of acrylic rubber, nitrile rubber, and EPDM having good waterproofness and ozone resistance is used, and dimensional precision is set so that dispersion of dimensions L1 and L2 of abutting contact face parts 31 and 32 between the container 1 and the container gasket 3 becomes ±0.5 mm or less.
