发明名称 IGNITION TIMING CONTROL FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of generating of engine stall due to the clutch meeting error on start by increasing the quantity of the air which flows in a bypass passage under a prescribed operation condition and delaying the ignition timing angle. CONSTITUTION:When the opening degree of a throttle valve 18 which is detected by a throttle opening degree sensor 20 is below a prescribed opening degree, and a clutch pedal 48 detected by a clutch switch 50 is stepped in, the quantity of the air which flows in a bypass passage 24 is increased by operating an ISC (idle speed control) valve 26 by a control circuit 46, and the ignition timing is delayed by a prescribed angle. Therefore, the output shaft torque is increased by the ignition by an MBT (Minimum Spark Advance for Best Torque) which shifts to the delay angle side in correspondance with the increase of the intake air quantity per engine revolution, accompanied with the reduction of the engine revolution speed due to the clutch meet, etc. on start, and the frequency of generation of the engine stall on the start of a vehicle can be reduced markedly.
