Modular connector

The modular connector includes modules (1) in series, which can be exchanged and which are held in a frame (2) consisting of two halves. At least one module is formed as a housing (3), which has a plug and connection side (4,5) for electrical, optical and/or pneumatic connections. A connection element (10) is provided inside the housing changing incoming signals for transmission to a counter connector.
