<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, after a valve member is molded, its goodness or not is judged by confirming each one with human eyes even though it is troublesome, and the presence or absence of a slit can be confirmed but it was very difficult to judge a size or a deviation of a center. <P>SOLUTION: A shape examining apparatus for examining a work formed with the slit comprises: a storage unit for recording a predetermined shape; a pressing unit for pressing the work to enlarge the slit; a shape recognition unit for recognizing the slit enlarged by the pressing unit; and a unit for comparing the shape recognized by the recognition unit with the predetermined shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
