PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain the optimum image forming condition corresponding to the production lot number of a photosensitive material when the fresh photosensitive material is loaded in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The optimum image forming condition corresponding to the photosensitive material F is stored in a server 16. When the photosensitive material F loaded in the image forming apparatus 20 is altered, the manufacturing lot number of the photosensitive material F is transmitted to the server 16 via the Internet 12. From a data base 17, the server 16 extracts the optimum image forming condition for the photosensitive material F matching the production lot number transmitted. The optimum image forming condition thus extracted is downloaded to the memory 38 of the image forming apparatus 20 via the Internet 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
