PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire which improves wet gripping properties without spoiling the breaking strength of the tire. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises a rubber component (A) which is preferably crosslinked and a block copolymer (B) containing a polymer block (b1) mainly comprising an aromatic vinyl-based compound and a polymer block (b2) mainly comprising a conjugated diene based compound, containing 3,4-bond and 1,2-bond in a total amount of 30% or more, which may be at least partially hydrogenated. The rubber composition is further mixed with a block copolymer (C) consisting of a block copolymer (c2) mainly comprising isobutylene and a block copolymer (c1) mainly comprising an aromatic vinyl- based compound.
