<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe suspender for laying a pipe with a precise gradient in piping work for a sewerage pipe, and simplifying backfilling work after laying the pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe fitting plate 2f as a part of a pipe holder has a substantially semispherical fitting groove 21f conformable to the diameter of a pipe, and locking means 2g, 2h of a pipe holding member at two places. One 2g of the locking means stores a part of a folded part of a string-like pipe holding member 2i, and has a storing part 21g having a U-shaped section, which is fixed to the pipe fitting plate 2f.
