摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To increase the permeability and retainability of phophoric acid without decrease in bubbling pressure by forming a matrix with paste obtained by mixing silicon carbide powder, polyetheretherketone powder, and a thickening agent in water. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte retaining matrix is obtained by using highly heat resistant polyetheretherketone as a binder of silicon carbide filler. The content of polyetheretherketone is 5-20wt% of the silicon carbide filler. If the content is less than 5%, it is difficult to retain the form of the matrix. If the content is more than 20%, pores formed in the matrix is too small. Polyetheretherketone powder having a mean particle size of 3mum or less is used.</p>
