PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substantially moisture-proof and airtight device which dispenses a plurality of diagnostic test strips and tests a biological fluid dis pensed onto the strip. SOLUTION: The device 21 has a dispenser and an analysis means which analyzes biological fluid. The dispenser comprises a housing 22 having a chamber, a holding means 83 holding a strip 62 at the first position which is substantially airtight and moisture-proof, and translation means 71, 74, and 116 translationally moving one of the strips from the first position in the chamber to the second position outside the chamber while opening the chamber, wherein procedures of opening the chamber and translation of the strip are performed by single mechanical operation.
