PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for feeding a wire for dipping into molten metal in which reverse flow of the sealing gas or entrainment of the air in this pipe are not developed even in the case of utilizing a guide pipe for feeding the wire to supply sealing gas. SOLUTION: When the wire containing the other metal is fed through the guide pipe held to a ladle and into the molten metal under atmosphere of the sealing gas, the sealing gas is simultaneously blown to two separate directions of the supplying source side of the wire and the molten metal side from the neighborhood of a bending part of the guide pipe.
