PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article housing device relaxing vibration or shock given to a housed article during transportation or carriage as much as possible. SOLUTION: A pair of vibration absorbing side covers 11 covering both sides of the article 3 are equipped with a truncated conical skirt portion 14 and a fastening means 19 for fastening one end 18a of the bottom margin 18 of the skirt portion 14 to the other opposite end 18a.
