PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change logic circuit data by providing a rewritable logic element for an output circuit and to acquire encoder output signals of different resolutions in one output circuit. SOLUTION: In this encoder, the output circuit (5) is provided with the rewritable logic element (10).
