PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kick device of an engine which avoids extension of crank bearing interval and easily lays out each gear around a crankshaft. SOLUTION: The kick device of the engine transmits rotation of a kick shaft 110 to the crankshaft 28. The kick shaft 110 is disposed in a substantially vertical under part of an output shaft 48, and the output shaft 48 is pivoted by a side wall of a crank chamber 37 and has a rear wheel driving sprocket 49 at an outer projecting end. The inside part and outside part of the kick shaft 110 in a car width direction are pivoted by the rear wheel driving sprocket 49, and the kick shaft 110 has a kick arm 111 at an outward projection end from an outside pivoting part.
