<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying an ink by applying the aging treatment of the unused ink so as to obtain a recorded matter that retains the color balance without substantially causing discoloring/fading of the recorded image with the lapse of time even against the long term storage, and to provide an ink to which the method is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The ink that does not substantially cause further degradation is obtained by performing the aging treatment such as the light irradiation and/or the oxidation treatment of the unused ink. The recorded matter using the ink that is subjected to such method does not cause discoloring/fading of the recorded image with the lapse of time even after the long term storage and continues to retain the high quality image state with the color balance of the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
