PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building construction method which can shorten a term of works and save materials used, and which is excellent in economy, workability, and environment. SOLUTION: After respective independent foundations 1 are constructed at regular intervals, the top of the adjacent foundation 1 is jointed with a horizontal beam 2. A column member 3 is erected on the horizontal beam 2 and a floor surface is formed above the horizontal beam 2. By securing a column leg portion 27, and a beam unit 2A having a horizontal branch beam 20 extending orthogonally to the column leg portion 27 onto the top of each of the foundations, and jointing each of the horizontal branch beams 20 with an intermediate horizontal beam 21, the horizontal beam 2 may be formed.
