PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erection device of a diagonal member in a comparatively simple composite truss bridge increasing execution accuracy and, at the same time, to provide an erection method of the diagonal member in the composite truss bridge capable of easily erecting at low cost with high degree of accuracy by using an execution device thereof. SOLUTION: The erection device of the diagonal member in the composite truss bridge providing a jig for holding the diagonal 11 to the up and down holding beams 2 and 4 is so constituted that the basic end section of the lower holding beam 2 projecting the front end to a new established side is fixed to the upper surface of the existing lower slab 1 and that the basic section of the upper holding beam 4 projecting the front end to the established side is fixed to the lower surface of the existing upper slab 3. The jig 6 holding the diagonal member 11 is equipped with a holding position adjusting device 7 for adjusting a holding position of the diagonal member 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
