PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor removing filter capable of effectively preventing malodor like musty smell generated in a building with an air-conditioning system, to be regenerated by a very simple operation, a filter element, and a method of regenerating the filter. SOLUTION: The odor removing filter elements 22 and 23 have pores whose average diameter is 5-200Å, and carry a solid adsorbing agent having OH radicals on the surface, on the surface of a base material. The filter 30 comprises the filter elements. The filter elements having adsorbed odor components are washed with water in the method of regeneration of the filter elements. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
