PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for increasing strength and stability as a whole, by preventing a joint and an interlayer connection making each member from peeling off, in a joint structure of a plurality of members composed of a plurality of members united at a given joint e.g. joining a stiffener with an outer panel. SOLUTION: An indentation is made from an edge in the width direction of a base, near an intersection of a surface boundary line formed on the surface of the base and an edge boundary line formed along the longitudinal direction of the edge of the base, at the joint between the outer panel as the base and the stiffener. A stress occurring at the free bordered edge of the base is leveled off, to come close to those at the surface boundary line and the edge boundary line, so that the stress generated at said intersection is lowered, leading to the prevention of the peeling off at the joint of the base and the stiffener or the like.
