Face protection mask, especially for medical applications

A face protection mask, especially for medical applications, comprises a sheeting cutout and/or a fabric cutout connected thereto. Sheeting cutout and/or fabric cutout have an incision in an edge region, so that the edge region can be pulled away from the remaining part of the face protection mask and forms a head band. By providing further incisions and notches or perforations adjoining this incision the length of the head band can be adjusted to the user's head circumference by tearing it open to the appropriate extent. The face protection mask does without retaining straps, e.g. rubber straps, so that it is easy to produce and to stack.
