<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing aid device for a rock bath allowing a user to take a bath in a rock bath while sitting on a wheelchair comfortably and safely without deteriorating the taste of the rock bath. <P>SOLUTION: The bathing aid device 1 is installed in the rock bath 2 with a bathtub body 7 constructed with natural rocks 6 for aiding a handicapped person 4 in taking a bath. The bathing aid device 1 comprises a bathing aid frame 66, a bathtub side support rail 67, and a lift means 68 connected to the bottom of the rail 67 for lifting the bathtub side support rail 67. The bathing aid frame 66 is embedded in a part of the bathtub body 7 and rock patterns are formed on the surface. The bathtub side support rail 67 is disposed inside the bathing aid frame for limiting the direction of movement of a seat part 14 separated from a wheel part 13 of the wheelchair 3 and supporting the seat part 14 mounted on the rail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
