PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micelle dispersion production method for producing a stable micelle dispersion having a fine and uniform particle size and free of the mixture of media or fragments of a dispersion tank without requiring a large quantity of a costly ferrocene derivative and to provide a micelle dispersion with which a color filter with clear hue can economically produced. SOLUTION: The micelle dispersion production method is for producing micelle of a ferrocene-based surfactant encapsulating a hydrophobic particle, using a high-pressure emulsifier comprising a linear orifice having no curved or bent part and a hollow member joined to the orifice and having a larger diameter than that of the orifice by discharging a liquid mixture containing at least the hydrophobic particle, the ferrocene-based surfactant, and a water-soluble medium through the orifice at a flow rate of 100 to 1,000 m/sec under pressure to the liquid mixture stagnated in the hollow member.
