PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium management system for distinguishably managing game media captured by a user without managing all the media under the same condition. SOLUTION: This game medium management system is provided with a storage part 7 for storing the rental quantity of the game media of each user, a counting part 8 for counting the captured quantity of the game media of each user, and an arithmetic part 6 for calculating the basic quantity of the game media. The arithmetic part compares the captured quantity of the game media of a specific user inputted from the counting part with a reference value determined based on the rental quantity of the game media of the specific user stored in the storage part, and calculates the basic quantity of the game media based on the comparison.
