<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller tuning fork type oscillator driving device. <P>SOLUTION: When a drive signal having the same frequency as that of a pulse signal from a frequency variant part 113 is generated by a drive signal generating part 111 and is applied to a piezoelectric element 504a for driving, the tuning fork type oscillator 504 is vibrated mechanically. The phase of a pulse signal from the frequency variant part 113 is delayed by (3/4) T by a (3/4) T delay part 115. While, a vibration signal indicating vibration from a piezoelectric element 504b for vibration detection is pulsed by a vibration signal detection part 112. Then, the phase of the delay signal from the (3/4) T delay part 115 is compared with the phase of a pulse signal from the vibration signal detection part 112 by a phase comparing part 116, and the frequency of a pulse signal to be outputted is controlled by the frequency variant part 113 on the basis of the comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
