PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation and sedimentation apparatus capable of being reduced in size and running cost. SOLUTION: The flocculation and sedimentation apparatus is arranged in a sedimentation tank 12 in an upright state and equipped with a mixing chamber 14 into which a liquid to be treated and additives are introduced, the center shaft 30 coaxially arranged in the mixing chamber and supported in a rotatable manner, the inside baffle plate 34 attached to the outer peripheral surface of the center shaft, the outside baffle plate 36 provided to the inner peripheral surface of the mixing chamber, the distributor 40 attached to the center shaft and distributing the liquid to be treated in the mixing chamber to supply the same into the sedimentation tank and a drive device 32 for rotationally driving the center shaft.
