METHOD FOR CREATING NUMERICAL CONTROL PROGRAM AND NUMERICAL CONTROL ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control electrical discharge machining machine reducing input data for creating a numerical control program as much as possible and provided with a method for creating a numerical control program suitable for shape forming and a function for creating a numerical control program.

SOLUTION: Design information of a work and an electrode designed with a CAD device based on product information is inputted in a CAD design data analysis part 120 and data relating to machining position and machining depth necessary for machining and dimensions of the electrode and wear out dimension of the electrode are taken out from the inputted design information of the work and the electrode. Machining area for electrical discharge machining is determined based on the taken out data and machining conditions suitable for the machining area are selected. A program creation part 130 creates a machining program with using the machining conditions and creates an electrode transfer program based on information relating to the machining position and creates a numerical control program from the machining program and the electrode transfer program.
