PRINT STOP CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the head position of first page is not set at a specified position in the print operation following to print stop if a signal determining the position for returning a web at a constant timing at all times after print stop is delivered at the time of print stop in the registration control of perfecting print using a web having no sprocket hole.

SOLUTION: At the time of print stop in the registration control of perfecting print using a web having no sprocket hole, the timing for delivering a signal determining the returning position of a web after print stop is calculated from a web carrying speed subjected to registration control.
