PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate working of grooves in a rotary cleaning body for retaining a blade and a brush part in a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: When a base seat 12 of the rotary cleaning body 10 is formed by extrusion, the blade 20, the groove 21, and a pair of parallel plate parts 22 are formed, the base seat 12 is formed, and the brush part 23 is installed and fixed in the groove 21. After completing the fitting of the brush part 23 to the groove 21, a rotary shaft 11 is inserted in a circular pipe-shaped hollow part 12A of the base seat 12 and the base seat 12 is twisted in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 11 and fixed thereto.
