PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a sheet-shaped shell-fixing tool comprising the troublesome task for the recovery of waste runner left after the cutting of the tool, difficulty in the disposal of the recovered runner and waste of resources by the disposal of the runner as waste. SOLUTION: A number of shell-fixing tools are connected together to form a strip-shaped tool. Each of the connected tools has a rope-fixing protrusion formed at the center of the base and insertable into a rope to restrict the falling off of the base from the rope. A shell-fixing tool is formed at a part beyond the rope-fixing protrusion in a manner protruded at the side of the rope-fixing protrusion. The tip end of the rope-fixing protrusion of a shell-fixing tool between two adjacent shell-fixing tools is connected to the base of the other shell-fixing tool. A sheet is placed on the strip-shaped shell-fixing tool and wound in the form of a roll containing the sheet between the strip-shaped fixing tools. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
