PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping and elevating controller for a combine harvester with which operability of an equipment group in a control chamber is improved while securing operation sensitivity necessary for reaping and elevating operation by an operation lever inclinable at least in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The reaping and elevating controller is equipped with the operation lever p, a position sensor 6 for the longitudinal direction of the lever and a reaping and elevating order means. A reaping part c is provided with grain culm sensors 3a and 3b for detecting the presence of grain culms to be reaped. The reaping and elevating order means is furnished with a neutral width setting means with which the neutral position of the operation lever p with regard to the signal of the position sensor 6 for the longitudinal direction and neutral width extending to the vicinity of the neutral position are set as a dead zone and only when no grain culm is detected by the grain culm sensors 3a and 3b, the neutral width of the dead zone is changed so that the neutral width is enlarged than the other cases.
