<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forgery-preventing paper having threads on its base paper so as to be easily ascertained its genuineness, even when the paper is forged, and further provided with a forgery-preventing measure surer and more effective than ever. <P>SOLUTION: This forgery-preventing paper has the threads on the base paper provided by a watermarking or transfer-printing procedure, wherein the threads have two or more visually recognizable perforations.
