FIELD: computer-aided monitoring and control engineering. SUBSTANCE: monitoring processor unit can be used in system for monitoring variables and acquiring data on functioning of control device and controlled entity that provides for monitoring and memorizing variables and controlled entity condition as well as condition of system as a whole at definite time moments, and also for disabling operating program for deviation period. System has clock-timer and serial port for data exchange between monitoring processor unit and control device, both being connected to microprocessor of monitoring processor unit; the latter is designed for computing system image and recording characteristics of controlled entity in definite memory fields, as well as for erasing system image function values or declaring them as invalid.
