PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound capable of imparting an organic polymer with hydrophilicity, a polymerizable composition produced by using the compound and an organic polymer produced by polymerizing the polymerizable composition. SOLUTION: The N-allyloxazolidone is a new compound having an allyl group on the nitrogen atom of oxazolidone. The polymerizable composition contains the new compound and a compound having at least one C-C double bond polymerizable with the new compound.
