<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to prepare, upload, and disclose contents by a simple operation even if the user has no knowledge about encoding, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In this content preparing system, contents prepared in a user terminal 10, namely, a content preparing device, are uploaded for reservation to a server 40, namely, a content preparing device. In the server 40, in response to user's request, a content preparing/information acquiring part 46 prepares a ticket having control information stated thereon for regulating the preparation/ uploading of contents, and the ticket is transmitted to the user terminal 10 while it is registered on a ticket DB (database) 49 together with relevant information. In the user terminal 10, an encoding part 11 prepares contents. An encoding control part 17 sets up an encoding mode based on the received ticket.
