FLOOR ROAD-SURFACE STRUCTURE FOR PEDESTRIAN AND METHOD FOR GIVING INFORMATION TO VISUALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON ON FLOOR ROAD SURFACE FOR PEDESTRIAN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor road-surface structure for a pedestrian easily informing a visually handicapped person of information such as a danger surely and an information informing method to the visually handicapped person using the structure.

SOLUTION: The floor road-surface structure for the pedestrian has a platform general section 1, in which a top face is covered with a concrete paved section 11, and a rubber-mat laid section 12 in which a top face is covered with a rubber mat member 20 composed of a rubber material. Since the rubber- mat laid section 12 is arranged on this side from a platform terminal, the visually handicapped person senses the presence of the rubber mat member 20 by the sense of touch of the sole of a foot, and the danger of a fall from the platform terminal or the like can be avoided.
