INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method for electronic commerce which provides personal information on a dealing partner while protecting the privacy of the dealing partner.

SOLUTION: A server 1 retrieves personal information on an exhibitor and a buyer according to an article name and a personal code received from a buyer terminal 4 through a network 2. The server 1 compares exhibitor's personal information with buyer's personal information as to personal attribute items of the buyer to extract matching items. The server 1 processes the personal information of the extracted items and embeds the processed information in display data for displaying information regarding an article and transmits the display data to the buyer terminal 4.
