<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcontroller having a function of stopping access properly when access is made to a slave block to which supply of a clock signal is stopped as a microcontroller having a function of stopping supply of the clock signal to the slave block. <P>SOLUTION: This microcontroller is provided with a master block 101 controlling the whole of the microcontroller, the slave blocks 102 and 103 controlled by the master block 101, clock signal controlling means 106 and 107 controlling supply/stop of the clock signal in compliance with a clock control signal outputted from the master block 101, and a default slave block 104 outputting a response signal RESP instead of the slave block to which supply of the clock signal is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
