INDOOR UNIT OF AIR-CONDITIONER, AND THE AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit used for both a pair-type air-conditioner and a multi type air conditioner for determining acceptance/rejection of adequate air supply operation even when air supply from an outdoor unit is not performed. SOLUTION: Indoor units 3a-3e are connected to outdoor units 2 and 12 to constitute an air-conditioner, and comprise a control unit 50 and an EEPROM 51. The control unit 50 controls the air supply operation. The EEPROM 51 stores a first data 61 on transmission information on acceptance/rejection of the air supply operation based on the transmission information from the outdoor units 2 and 12 when the communication with the outdoor units 2 and 12 is possible. The control unit 50 refers to the data in the EEPROM 51, and determines whether or not the air supply operation is prohibited. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
