PURPOSE: A solenoid type striking machine is provided to manufacture a thin striking machine including a solenoid and an iron core surrounding the solenoid and provide a large stroke power and a great range of vibration. CONSTITUTION: The machine comprises: a solenoid(2) of a cylindrical coil; a solenoid core(3) consisting of two concentric cylindrical cores; a disc type bottom plate core(6) surrounding the solenoid(2) and the solenoid core(3); a stroke generating portion(1) inserted and attached to an inside portion of the cylindrical cores; a cylindrical slider(4) inserted into an inside portion of the cylindrical cores and permitting the stroke generating portion(1) to perform a reciprocating movement; and a spring(5) inserted between the stroke generating portion(1) and the slider(4) and restoring the distance between the solenoid core(3) and the bottom plate core(6).
