FIELD: manufacture of nonwoven materials for producing respiratory organs protecting devices. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven material subjected to thermal processing comprises fibrous layer secured to textile carcass by fiber bundles of fibrous material forming piled surface and comprising ion-exchange and thermoplastic fibers. Fibrous layer is made from mixture of ion- exchange and thermoplastic fibers used in the ratio of (80-90):(10-20) wt%. Fibrous bundles are formed by needle stitching and are passed through textile carcass so that their fibers define piles on carcass surface. Method involves securing fibrous layer with textile carcass by fibrous layer fiber bundles and simultaneously forming piled surface, with ion-exchange and thermoplastic fibers being used for manufacture of nonwoven material; providing thermal processing of material upon securing thereof; manufacturing fibrous layer from mixture of ion-exchange and thermoplastic fibers used in the ratio of (80-90): (10-20) wt%; forming fiber bundles by stitching at fibrous layer side by pulling fibers through carcass so that fibers form piles on carcass surface. Material of such structure is used for manufacture of devices used for protecting human organism from toxic substance vapors and gases, as well as in protective decorative-absorbing articles of rooms for ecology protection.
