PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a polymer capable of manufacturing a polymer without decreasing productivity using a method of feeding a polymerization catalyst which has little concern of inducing scale deposition on the inner wall of a reactor. SOLUTION: In this method of polymerizing a monomer by feeding the polymerization catalyst to the liquid phase 9 in which the monomer fed to the inside of the reactor body 4 of the reactor 2 is dissolved in a solvent, the catalyst is fed under the surface 92 of the liquid phase 9.
