SUBSTANCE: data residing on one medium is protected against copying to equivalent medium and against identical use of copied data like any data residing on original medium by transferring unambiguously defined identification data added as authenticating signature to data set for shaping signature-incorporating data set, copying mentioned data set on data medium, coding data set on medium, transferring encoded data set to trailer, reading encoded data in trailer, and decoding encoded data.
