<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can discriminate relativity of tickets even if the tickets are continuously inserted. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 15 of the gate device 1 reads an ID recorded in the ticket 6 by a ticket reading part 12 when a ticket is inserted. If a plurality of tickets 6 are inserted, the gate device judges based on information read from the tickets to get one through when tickets have the same IDs.
