PURPOSE: Provided is a gravity belt dehydrator with a sloped zone having 2-3 slope degree between a sludge inlet and a sludge outlet, a filter cloth belt on the sloped zone, and a plurality of picket bars, each with a flexible member being in contact with a filter cloth bed at a lower end thereof, so that the dehydrator has high dehydration efficiency and its filter cloth is hardly damaged. CONSTITUTION: The dehydrator comprises a sludge basin with a sludge inlet and a sludge outlet formed at the opposite sides thereof, a sloped zone provided in the sludge basin between the sludge inlet and the sludge outlet and up-sloped from the sludge inlet side to the sludge outlet side by 2-3 inclination degree, a filter cloth belt(104) provided on the bottom of the basin and moving from one side to the other side of the basin by being wound by a roller, a plurality of support bars(120) installed across the sludge basin, a plurality of picket bars(110) perpendicularly coupled to the corresponding support bars(120), each of the picket bars(110) being comprised of a bar(111) coupled to the corresponding support bar(120) at an upper end portion thereof and a flexible member(112) coupled to a lower end of the bar(111), wherein the flexible members(112) are in contact with the filter cloth bed(104) and make ridges on the filter cloth bed(104) during the dehydration process.
